Voilà LOCAL is a real-time hyperlocal deal marketplace. Local businesses post flash deals, last-minute openings, and exclusive offers. Consumers discover them on the live feed and claim instantly. There are four ways to participate: as a Consumer (free), Business (paid plans from $9.99/mo), Affiliate (commissioned), or Content Creator (paid plans from $14.99/mo).

Visit voila-local.com and click the door that matches you: Consumer, Business, Affiliate, or Creator. Consumers self-register instantly. Businesses, Affiliates, and Creators submit a short application — Jennifer reviews each one personally, usually within 48 hours. You'll get an email when you're approved (or asked for more info if anything's missing).

Once your application is approved and you've set up your business profile, head to your dashboard and click "Go Live" or open Listings → New. Pick a deal type (Don't Blink, Last Call, My Way, Grab It, Look Here, Show Up), fill in the details, and publish. Your deal goes live immediately for consumers in your area.

Peek ($9.99/mo) gives you one static listing. Reveal ($19.99/mo) unlocks 2 active deals at once and access to all 6 listing types. Premiere ($29.99/mo) gives you 5 active deals, Secret Deals, the verified-badge eligibility, and direct wish-thread messaging with consumers. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We don't charge until day 15. You can change plans anytime from your billing page.

You earn 20% on every business's first paid month (paid every Tuesday by Stripe direct deposit). After that, you earn a recurring renewal commission every month for as long as the business stays subscribed: 5% on Peek, 10% on Reveal, 15% on Premiere (paid on the 15th). Once you cross $2K, $5K, or $8K in monthly initial sales, volume bonuses kick in (+3%, +5%, +8% respectively). The 90-day milestone bonus pays an extra 5% of one month's renewal once a referred business stays 90 days.

You connect a bank account through Stripe Connect Express during onboarding. Once that's set up, Voilà LOCAL fires a Stripe Transfer to your bank every Tuesday (initial-sale commissions) and on the 15th (everything else: renewals, volume bonuses, milestones, overrides). Most banks settle within 1–2 business days. The minimum per payout is $50 — anything below rolls into the next cycle.

A circle is your paid community on Voilà LOCAL. Members pay a monthly subscription to join and you collect the revenue (minus a small platform fee that depends on your plan tier). You run circles from the Circles tab in your creator dashboard. Each plan tier has different limits: Essential gets 1 circle up to 50 members, Force gets 3 circles up to 250 each, Icon gets unlimited.

Open the discover feed in your area, tap a deal that catches your eye, and tap Claim. You'll get a unique 6-character claim code instantly — show that to the business when you arrive. Claims expire — read the deal's "valid until" carefully. If you can't make it, gift the claim to a friend instead of letting it expire (most deals support this from the Mine tab).

If your card fails, your account stays active for 7 days while Stripe retries. We'll email you the moment the first failure happens with a link to update your card. After 7 days of failed retries, your listings pause until billing is current. You can update your card anytime from your business dashboard → Billing → Update payment method.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Personal information is access-controlled at the row level — only you and Jennifer (the founder) can see your full profile. We don't store payment card details — those live with Stripe. Bank account info for affiliate payouts is held by Stripe Connect.
